David Brondstetter discusses the impact of online review spam filters on your service center
It’s been said time and time again by industry insiders, online reviews are vitally important to your service center’s growth – but are some reviews sources more helpful or hurtful than others? One debate that has been ongoing throughout the industry lately has been the impact of Yelp’s online reviews. Brian Pasch, Founder of PCG Companies and host of Auto Marketing Now on the CBT Automotive Network, recently stated that “dozens of automotive dealers have expressed to me their frustration with Yelp because in their opinion, Yelp seems to block valid customer reviews. I have personally inspected cases where valid reviews are filtered as if they were spam.”
